Discussions around AI Search Optimization can sometimes create the impression that traditional SEO work is becoming less important.

As users increasingly receive direct answers instead of lists of links, and businesses begin thinking not only about Google rankings but also about mentions, citations and recommendations in AI systems, a reasonable question follows: how important is Technical SEO now?

Just as important as before.
